Ryan Kelly

Ryan Kelly is associate director of choral activities at West Chester University of Pennsylvania where he directs Mastersingers, Cantari Donne, Chamber Singers, and Vocal Jazz Ensemble, and teaches courses in conducting and choral music. Also an experienced church musician and organist, he is organist at Proclamation Presbyterian Church in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. 
 
His compositions and performing editions are published by Augsburg Fortress, Boosey & Hawkes, and Carus-Verlag. With Jason D. Paulk he co-authored Messiah: Warm-ups for Successful Performance, published by Hal Leonard, and his scholarship is also published in Choral Journal. He is an active lecturer and clinician with numerous appearances at national, regional, and state conferences of the National Association for Music Education, the American Choral Directors Association, and the American Guild of Organists. 
 
He earned his D.M.A. in choral conducting from Michigan State University; he also has an M.M. in choral conducting from the University of Oklahoma and a B.M. in Church Music from Houston Baptist University.
