Harold Stover

Harold Stover (b. 1946) is a native of Latrobe, Pennsylvania, and a graduate of the Juilliard School in New York City.  Now retired from full-time church work after serving churches in New York and Portland, Maine, he directs the Portland-based chorus Renaissance Voices and teaches at the Portland Conservatory music while pursuing an active career as a freelance organist. His recital credits include concerts on most major New York series, at the National Cathedral in Washington, Westminster Abbey in London, and many other distinguished venues. He has made nine appearances as performer and/or composer on Pipedreams, the nationally syndicated radio program of organ music, and has been featured as composer, performer, and lecturer at regional and national conventions of the American Guild of Organists.
