Roberta Rowland-Raybold has held positions in churches of several denominations, where she has led programs of sacred music, and is currently organist at First Baptist Church, Conway, South Carolina, and serves as
summer organist at Evangelical Lutheran Church, Cooperstown, New York. A graduate of Wittenberg University, she majored in sacred music and organ performance. In that setting she was a member of the staff of the College of Community Education where she taught organ and piano. Additional graduate work was done at Greatbatch School of Music at Houghton College and Eastman School of Music. She teaches organ privately and is a speaker to church musicians as to the importance of commitment and passion in the field of worship and music. Roberta holds colleague certification with the American Guild of Organists; she is on the board of directors of the Palatine Society of New York, where she directs a summer concert program, and is a member of the Association of Lutheran Church Musicians and the Organ Historical Society.
